Question by : whats the best nikon telephoto zoom lens for 0 or less?
not too much zoom and i like it to start at 50mm or below. thank you

Nikon 55-200VR is about $ 200, and is good value for the money.

Tamron do an 18-200 IS for about $ 250

Nikon 18-105VR is about $ 350

Nikon 18-135 is probably available for close to $ 250

VR is good to have if you can afford it. Sharper pictures all round, especially at longer focal lenses without a tripod.
